Cadavedo to Luarca stage

Although they are only a couple of wooded sections, it is already appreciated and yet today's stage, although it will relieve the legs with less asphalt, alternates roads with sections of Nacional. The whole day runs through the council of Valdés and passes first through Villademoros, although he does not visit his tower of possible Roman origin.

After this locality he leaves to the old N-632, through which we advance to a path that goes parallel to this national. We arrived in San Cristobal and later in Querúas, to go out this time to the new N-632, with more traffic. Later it returns to the old N-632, which is left again to climb up to the church of San Miguel de Canero and meet us on the downhill with the N-634. You have to take Luarca and then cross over the Esva River, a course that is born in the Sierra de Tineo and flows towards the Cantábrico. Behind the bridge the road is left to the height of a hostel and is followed, already on the way, to the beach of Cueva. A thousand meters later you reach the N-634 and follow it you pass by the village of Caroyas. Over the asphalt of the national and several roads we will reach a sign that signalizes, on the right, La Rampla. If we listen to this diversion we will reach Luarca, passing through the church of San Sebastian de Barcia.

On the other hand, if we are going to sleep in the hostel in Almuña, we will continue straight through the arcén of the road to Almuña. Upon arriving to this locality, to reach the hostel you have to deviate left, at the height of a bar restaurant, by the AS-220 towards Meras y Paredes. At 600 meters, on the left hand at the foot of the road, is the hostel. It's a blue and yellow facade house.
