The route

We enter the Terra Chá, a Lucense region that, as its Galician name indicates, is characterized by a plain path filled with grasslands. Abadin leaves by the post office and we continue on a quite wide track until we take a right hand path that goes indoors between oak and crosses a wooden bridge. Since 2017, 600 meters after the bridge that saves the highway, next to the road that advances to the Castromaior river, there is a new hostel called O Xistral that is already reflected in the list of hostels of the stage. Later on, a weak echo returns us to a paved runway with long straight lines that we will alternate with some bleaker path until we reach Martian, where we will cross the N-634. Later we passed through his Pontevella, the first of the characteristic bridges of the Terra Chá.

Save the Batan River thanks to two large uneven arches and a smaller one that serves to relieve the flow in times of great rainfall. A greenger with appealing shadows by the river invites, at least, to take a break. The journey (thank you for not going through the national) is trenzing long straight parallel to the 634 by roads with good floor and paved slopes. We will come back to the national in Goiriz, next to the church of Santiago and its characteristic cemetery. After 100 meters by the road a road emerges to the right hand and in less than an hour we will be enjoying the hostel of Vilalba, located in the polygon of entrance to the village.
